pc works.....i was on sunday night. virus free. checked with 4 programs.

one final bug to work on pc: verclsid.exe

this stupid m$ program is locking up my machine once an hour or so. it is trying to get online...and when it does. whatever program i'm running locks up. first tried to disable it, then tried to rename it with different names, then deleted it, ......and it still comes back. its something to do with xp sp2. when its running......pc slows to a crawl......then locks screen. mouse is operational, but i need to do the control alt delete thing to shut machine down and restart. seems to use huge bandwidth...and loads two xxxx.pl files on machine. i can remember what the 30 someodd string of numbers the xxxx part is.

any ideas?
